Don and Dean have known each other for almost 40 years, first working  together as student affairs professionals at the University of North  Dakota. Business partners for 20 years, they still love their work and  approach each project with enthusiasm, passion and creativity.   

Donald Vangsnes has a varied background in evaluation consulting and education, from teaching elementary school to serving as a college administrator. Much of his work has been done in collaborative settings involving business, government and foundation/non-profit organizations. His areas of expertise include program evaluation, qualitative research, project management and group facilitation.

Dean Schieve has three decades of experience in a variety of positions in research consulting, higher education and the private sector. He has served as a university administrator and researcher, marketing research consultant, advertising account executive and newspaper writer. His areas of expertise include program evaluation, survey research, project management, communications research and report writing.
